Enjoy the tranquility of Maryland’s Eastern Shore at the family-friendly Lankford Bay Marina

Lankford Bay Marina, at the mouth of Davis Creek off Lankford Creek and the Chester River, is the quiet protected harbor you have been looking for where your boat is safe, and you can enjoy the tranquility of the Eastern Shore.

The marina’s deep-water approach provides easy access to the great sailing waters of the lower Chester River and out to the Chesapeake Bay. Transients are always welcome.

Dockage for multi-hull vessels is available along the 250 ft of T-head at the marina. Click here for our range of services.

Located in Kent County, the marina is close to Rock Hall and a short drive to Chestertown offering easy access to the charm, history, shopping, and great steamed crabs that make the Shore so popular.

We visited a year ago, and found the marina closed because of water issues. It was such a beautiful spot that we returned this week and found the marina under new ownership. Mike is fantastic and doing a great job with this special spot. Highly recommend this full-service marina!

Under new management as of June 2021 and Mike Sipala and his crew are updating the place and getting it running again. New washer/dryer is free, the pool is great, and you can't beat the beautiful location. We've had work done on our boat and they've done a great job. Mike and his team are friendly and responsive. Highly recommend this beautiful place!

I hadn't been to Langford Bay Marina in a few years but have been ducking in there for decades for fuel, ice, other supplies, and a transient slip. Langford Bay Marina is one of the hidden treasures of the Chesapeake. Tucked away on lovely creek off Langford Creek, this is a full-service yard capable of doing pretty much anything a boat might need. Langford Bay Marina has a small but typically well stocked store both with marine supplies and sundries. Yet it is also an extremely well-maintained family friendly marina with a pool, playground and lovely views.
